Home Electrified is a static website. We use Google Analytics for aggregate traffic measurement, but we do not maintain user accounts or logins.
Analytics
Google Analytics may set cookies and collect standard usage data such as pages visited, browser type, approximate location, and referral source. We use it to understand which guides and calculators are useful.
Calculators
Every calculator on this site (EV charging cost, heat pump vs. furnace running cost, and others as we add them) runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The numbers you enter — your state, mileage, prices — are never sent to our servers or anyone else's. Nothing you type into a calculator is stored, transmitted, or logged by us.
Hosting
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare, as our infrastructure provider, may log standard web request data (such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps) for security and performance purposes, governed by Cloudflare's own privacy policy. We do not have access to personally identifying logs beyond what Cloudflare provides in aggregate.
Third-party links
Articles link to external sources (government agencies, utilities, industry data providers) for verification. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we don't control.
Future changes
If we ever add affiliate links or an email list, this page will be updated first, with a new effective date, before those features go live — and any affiliate relationships will be disclosed on the relevant pages.
